Plaza Mayor

Is Medellín's largest convention center, with 70,000 square meters. Located in a central area of the city, it offers spacious and uncrowded public areas in addition to hosting its own events.

Parques del Río (River Parks)

Stretches along both sides of the Medellín River, between Calle 33 and Avenida San Juan. It is a popular spot for Medellín residents to walk, relax, run, have picnics, skate, walk their dogs, and even dance. The corridor that runs along the river from north to south has everything you need for a great backdrop for beautiful photos, taking advantage of the medium-height trees that still offer glimpses of the vast sky and two or three of the city's iconic buildings.

Botero Plaza

Inaugurated in 2002, features 23 sculptures by the master Fernando Botero, donated to the city. It is the only open-air space with so many of Botero's works.

Constelaciones Medellin

Constellations

Tells the story of the customs, history, hopes and sorrows, desire for change, and resilience of the residents of the Brisas del Jardín and San José de la Cima II neighborhoods, located in Comuna 3. This collection of streets and houses, featuring Medellín's largest open-air artwork (over 14,000 square meters), was designed and conceived by the renowned Antioquian artist Fredy Alzate.
