1. ICONIC CITY LANDMARKS & HERITAGE
Plaza Mayor
Is Medellín's largest convention center, with 70,000 square meters. Located in a central area of the city, it offers spacious and uncrowded public areas in addition to hosting its own events.
Parques del Río (River Parks)
Stretches along both sides of the Medellín River, between Calle 33 and Avenida San Juan. It is a popular spot for Medellín residents to walk, relax, run, have picnics, skate, walk their dogs, and even dance. The corridor that runs along the river from north to south has everything you need for a great backdrop for beautiful photos, taking advantage of the medium-height trees that still offer glimpses of the vast sky and two or three of the city's iconic buildings.
2. WORLD-CLASS CURATED MUSEUMS
Botero Plaza
Inaugurated in 2002, features 23 sculptures by the master Fernando Botero, donated to the city. It is the only open-air space with so many of Botero's works.
The Museum of Antioquia
In addition to housing more than 100 works by Botero, also features 17 permanent exhibition halls of pre-Hispanic, Republican, and contemporary art.

Jericó
Its cobblestone streets, 22 churches, and the Mother Laura Museum make Jericó a unique destination. The municipality of Jericó features elements of both Republican and Colonial styles, captivating both its residents and tourists. Its architecture, characterized by the design of its doors and balconies, is complemented by the presence of trees, among which cedars, ceibas, madrone trees, and Andean palms stand out.
Guatapé
Two hours from Medellín lies the municipality of Guatapé. Located at 1,925 meters above sea level, it enjoys a temperate climate with temperatures ranging from 13°C to 22°C. It's a must-see if you're in Medellín or the surrounding area, as it's one of the region's major attractions with its unique views, landscapes, and places that have captivated visitors from all over the world.
Santa Fé de Antioquia
Is an excellent choice if you enjoy places with heritage architecture. It is located 79 kilometers from Medellín. This town, situated in the western subregion of Antioquia, was the department's capital for over 200 years.
Constellations
Tells the story of the customs, history, hopes and sorrows, desire for change, and resilience of the residents of the Brisas del Jardín and San José de la Cima II neighborhoods, located in Comuna 3. This collection of streets and houses, featuring Medellín's largest open-air artwork (over 14,000 square meters), was designed and conceived by the renowned Antioquian artist Fredy Alzate.
